Set Video as wallpaper. . .

Using versatile VLC video player, you can easily set any video to play as your background wallpaper. Going a step further from the Active Desktop, VLC player has this hidden gem. AP art from being a great free and lightweight video player with most formats supported, VLC can set a video to run as your desktop wallpaper. All your desktop icons will still be visible and operable and the coolness factor is immense!!.

First you need to download the latest version of VLC from www.videolan.org. since VLC already includes CODECS for almost every popular video formats out there, you don't need to worry about CODECS.

After installing VLC player on your machine, just open the video file in VLC and right click it while its playing. You will see the wallpaper option in the right-click menu. Click it and your video will start playing as your wallpaper, you can also enable the sound to play as the movies continues.

If it is a very small video, you might want to loop the video so that it continues playing.
