37 TREK TO STOK KANGRI

As a mountain desert, Ladakh is home to some of world's most unusual landscapes. See the best of it on a moderatory demanding, three to four-day trek starting 5km from Leh at Stok village to Stok Kangri Base Camp and on to Stok Kangri Peak(6,153m) in the Zanskar range. From the summit are stunning views of K2(on a clear day), the Karakoram Range and a spread of the Himalayas. You don't need previous climbing. Wrap up and set out between mid-July and mid-September.
